Bad Brains - Sailin’ On

Dreadlocked speed-sultans Bad Brains are widely regarded as one of the two or three number one best hardcore punk bands ever.  That they aren’t the only number one best hardcore punk band ever is kind of a tragedy, seeing as how they invented it (in their spare time one afternoon, after hearing the Ramones), but those are the breaks.  Take it up with Ian MacKaye.

Invented? Maybe… but they’re still not as good as Minor Threat. Still, second place ain’t all bad.
